Day 22 Summary

Today was the first sweltering day of summer that we've seen in London. It was 80 degrees all day.

We spent the whole day in the sun. Alyssa, Milla, and I walked around by Milla's dorm to try and find some new shopping areas. Unfortunately, the place we walked around was a bust so we roamed the South Bank for the millionth time. I love it though and I could go a million more times. On nice days, it seems like everyone in London is in South Bank. People are relaxing in the grass underneath the London Eye. People are crowded around street performers. Kids are eating ice cream. Skate boarders are skating. It is wonderful.

After talking on a bench for about an hour, we went to the Real Food Market. We go to this market most weekends (mentioned in my second post from London). The food is delicious. I had a potato crepe made out of lentils and a Malaysian pancake. Woah. So good.

At the end of the night, Milla and I went to Electricity and then Hoxton Bar and Kitchen (our regular spots). It was a good time. We talked to a group of guys made up of an Australian, an Irishman, and two Londoners. I couldn't tell any of their accents apart which was super embarrassing and very american of me. I need to pay more attention.
